So its very rare that I actually enjoy a visit to the dentist office. I don’t take care of my teeth the way that I am supposed to. I’m far from it. So the biggest reason i hate going into the office is because I don’t want to even think about the lectures I’m going to get about flossing and brushing. Second to that, I anticipate the crazy noises that everything makes and the pokey feeling that the xray films give in my mouth when they decide to take a new xray.

But, for my wedding, I realized I needed to get my teeth cleaned, so I poked around on the Internet until I found someone who’s name looked lovely. Yes, this is pretty much how most of my decisions are driven. Dr. Marianne Gable. I mean, it even has a black-and-white romantic feeling to it, does it not?

Fortunately for me, Dr. Marianne Gable was the perfect office for me to go to. I arrived about 15 minutes early (which was oddly a first for me. I’m usually the annoying patient who arrives 10 minute late) because I realized I had forgotten to brush my teeth so i wanted to try to get one last ditch effort to brush them before anyone goes inside.

The reception desk happily supplied me with toothpaste and a toothbrush and didn’t give me any grief about it at all. Then i filled out the standard paperwork and the hygienist took me to her space. My time with the hygenist (I don’t remember her name right now) was very pleasant. We talked about a lot of great things and she was happy to get my teeth cleaned and give me advise on whitening products for getting it whiter for the wedding. Then, the dentist came in in a YOGA outfit! Which, okay some people would think that’s unprofessional but I TOTALLY thought it was great. It showed me that she really cares about herself and that’s the kind of people I want to do business with. So, she took a look over my xrays and talked to the hygenist and we decided that I should consult with a specialist about some sensitivity that i’m experiencing.

Overall, my experience with Dr. Marianne Gable and her staff was so wonderful and I would highly highly recommend anyone who lives in this area to see her for any general practice needs.
